How helpful is India Year Book for Prelims ? Could someone please suggest the important topics/chapters ?

Vinay The followed are the most important chapters: Environment, Welfare, Science and Technological Developments. In addition to these, if you have time do the following chapters: Culture, Industry, States and UTs, Education, Energy, Health and Family Welfare, Planning. Focus on memorising different schemes and their provisions. Suplement the chapters on economy in IYB from Economic Survey. Focus on facts like GDP growth rate, Foreign Exchange, with how many countries India has FTA, CEPA etc.
